We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Utilities

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Employment Type: Full-time

The Purpose

  • To coordinate operational and maintenance activities on Power and Utilities and other auxiliary equipment for capacity utilization.

The Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation and maintenance activities of the power plant and Utilities (including WTP, Regasification plant, and compressed air systems)
  • Supervise operation activities to achieve operational KPIs for Power (gas fuel efficiency, diesel fuel efficiency, PF, zero downtime, and gas mix)
  • Monitor day to day utility consumption operation costs, drive energy conservation initiatives, derive KPIs for energy consumption, and establish tools for energy efficiency measurement.
  • Diagnose the root cause and specify the method of repair for plant equipment.
  • Achieve 95% planned maintenance for all plant equipment (Power and Utility).
  • Manage stock level of diesel and gas for efficient plant operation and eliminate stock out.
  • Develop a minimum of two (2) SOPs for Power/Utilities Quarterly
  • Supervise, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to ensure optimal operations and reliability of plant equipment in the power plant and Utility 

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Membership with NSE or COREN will be an added advantage
  • 3 years’ cognate experience in a similar field

  • Possess systematic thinking abilities to demonstrate sound judgment and to problem-solving.
  • Excellent ability to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders.
