Job Title: Pipeline Project Manager

Job Title: Pipeline Welder

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities relating to construction estimates and/or material takeoffs of partial or complete projects
  • Check vendor shop drawings and construction drawings

Job Title: Contracts and Supply Chain Manager

Job Title: Wells QA / QC Engineer

Job Description

  • The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
  • Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
  • Monitor all quality related activities on the project
  • Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companies management
  • Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
  • Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.

Job Title: Mud Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Implement and promotes the company health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, regulations and objectives; and ensure, by appropriate monitoring and review, that work is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Samples and analyzes drilling mud at regular intervals as well as whenever required in order to ensure smooth and efficient drilling operations;
  • Calculate and reports the daily low gravity solids percentages. Tests Oil Based Mud (OBM) upon receiving and reporting same to client
  • Plan mud and chemical requirements in accordance with drilling operational requirements;
  • Ensure the mud testing equipment are available on location, well maintained and calibrated;
  • Reports the daily and cumulative mud utilization and cost, estimation of mud lost, and addition of fluids;

Job Title: Senior Completions Engineer

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit a formidable well Engineering team for an up coming project.
  • Positively participating in teams of multi-disciplinary engineers providing completion engineering and testing solutions as part of the well delivery process (e.g., well planning preparation, tubing stress analysis, material selection, tendering, purchasing, QA/QC, CWOP, peer reviews, risk assessment and execution of operations in a timely manner).
  • Preparing completion/testing/workover programmes/end of well reports and coordinating other specialist inputs.
  • Optimising safe working practices in the development of operational programmes. Being familiar with derogations, management of change, company rules, HAZID/HAZOPs etc.
  • Accurately preparing budgets and durations required for completion projects for individual wells.
  • Liaising with the Well Examiner to ensure programs are in line with the Well Examination Scheme.
  • Updating and following up equipment preparation for routine and non-routine operations.
  • Updating and following up the rig cost control for service contracts involved in completion/workover/testing operations.
  • Supervising and coaching entry level Engineers.
  • Preparing statutory applications/notifications to external agencies, as required, to satisfy the overall completion/testing programme.
  • Preparing, reviewing and evaluating tenders for the provision of completion/workover/testing related equipment and services. Providing cost models, technical feedback final recommendations and presentations to contract management committee etc.
  • Supervising completion/workover operations on designated rigs. Actively participating in the drilling and wells improvement process.
  • Liaising closely with operations to support implementation of engineering work plans and providing live completion/testing engineering support.
  • Following up and improving well performance through collaborative evaluation and innovation.
  • Supervising small task forces comprising of junior Engineers and contractors to resolve engineering/technical issues and leading operational implementation of solutions. Participating in group wide feedback of new or innovative engineering solutions.
  • Prepare programs for all critical rigless activities such as securing wells and production logging operations. Thereafter oversee the implementation of the work by contractors to ensure the objectives are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all HSE risks are identified and that measures are put in place to mitigate risks and ensure that Rigless programs and completion programs are prepared accordingly. In particular ensure that HSE requirements are never compromised and that operations are performed in compliance of the Drilling Reference Manual (DRM), the Drilling Department Golden Rules and Corporate HSE requirements.
  • Supervise and support the completion engineers with regard to the design and installation of optimum well completions and resolve technical and operational problems as they arise.
  • Plan and supervise all production logging activities at oil, gas and water wells using production technology, thermal decay and gamma ray neutron tools (PLT, TDT and GNT). Responsibilities include gathering data, preparing program and overseeing work of contractor through to satisfactory completion of program.
  • The incumbent also has responsibility to plan and program critical rigless operations such as well killing and production logging.
  • Carry out peer assist and review of job procedures, completion design, job preparation and project readiness.
  • Involved in periodic technical webinars to mentor and coach younger Engineers on industrial best practices, lessons learnt and new technologies.

 

Job Title: Wellsite Geologist

Location: Rivers

Description 

  • We are looking to recruit a formidable well Engineering team for an upcoming project.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating offset data before the start of drilling
  • Analyzing, evaluating and describing formations while drilling, using cuttings, gas, formation evaluation measurement while drilling (FEMWD), and wireline data
  • Comparing data gathered during drilling with predictions made at the exploration stage
  • Advising on drilling hazards and drilling bit optimization
  • Making decisions about suspending or continuing drilling. Ultimately, it’s the wellsite geologist’s responsibility to decide when drilling should be suspended or stopped.
  • Advising operations personnel both on the rig and in the onshore operations office about any pertinent geological or drilling information as it arises.
  • Supervising mudlogging, MWD (Measurement while drilling)/LWD (logging while drilling), and wireline services personnel, and monitoring quality control in relation to these services.
  • Keeping detailed records, writing reports, completing daily, weekly and post-well reporting logs, and sending these to appropriate departments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of LWD and MWD tools and status of all equipment onboard and in transit to make sure the equipment is available and in working order when it is needed.
  • As a single point of contact between the Exploration team and Drilling team during drilling operations.
  • Monitoring the formation evaluations program with massive communication to the Wellsite Geologist on the rig site.
  • Preparing the Geological Well Program and presenting the materials during the Pre-spud meeting to drilling contractors.
  • Participating in the procurement process, especially for drilling and formation evaluation contractors.
  • Producing a flow chart for the coring protocol and formation evaluations program (i.e., Mud logging, LWD/MWD, Wireline logging, Bio stratigraphy, core analysis).
  • Managing all data relating to geological data and formation evaluation from drilling operations.
  • Responsible for the daily geological report to update the G&G team during drilling operations.
  • Producing the final well report, including a composite log.
  • The incumbent will support the Senior Wellsite Geologist by performing all assigned tasks in relation to (but not limited to):
  • Planning and supervision of geological operations in the course of drilling
  • Adherence to safety protocols, Company Rules (CR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and training related to the role. Ensuring service company personnel being supervised are equally HSE compliant in training and service delivery.
  • Reviewing quality, accuracy, and unambiguity of geoscience data acquired at the Wellsite and associated reporting (Shows/Cuttings descriptions, well composite logs and Final Well reports, Post-Mortems, REX, etc.).
  • Ensuring timely dispatch of Wellsite reports (e.g., Daily Geological Reports) and geoscience data to Town.
  • Anticipating, correlating, and reporting of Well and geological events (Faults, reservoir tops, OVP zones, etc.).
  • Contribution to the improvement of data acquisition Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and best practices.
  • Supervision of the Mud Logging crew to ensure that Cutting’s descriptions and Shows identification/descriptions are consistent with best practices, that Sensors/equipment are functional, and that real-time data is reliable.
  • Ensuring Well samples: Cuttings, fluid, Cores, etc. are handled, packaged, stored, and shipped as per SOP.

Job Title: Drilling Engineer

Job Description

  • Provide sound drilling engineering methods and procedures to be used on assigned drilling problems.
  • Execute and accomplish assignments and studies in areas outlined in the scope, assuring conformance to overall objectives of all phases of drilling operations in areas including drilling penetration rate optimization, new drilling technology, and drilling studies.
  • Deliver technical support for various types of drilling wells including complex multi-lateral and extended reach (ERD) horizontal oil and gas wells, HPHT gas wells, offshore and deep water, and unconventional wells. Wells include power water injections and producing wells, exploration wells and all kind of workovers including HST’s.
  • Analyze advanced drilling data and the performance of new or existing drilling techniques to determine a need for or benefit from studies, recommendations, and/or modifications with respect to unit costs, and operating efficiency consistent with established operations.
  • Extend training and technical support to junior engineers and ensure the sustained meeting of regional and global standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in the detailed planning of drilling operations, in collaboration with other professionals such as reservoir engineers, geologists and geophysicists. Also evaluate geological and engineering data to determine optimal well locations, appropriate drilling techniques and necessary equipment.
  • Responsible for selecting the appropriate drilling equipment based on the characteristics of the well, geological formation and the operational constraints. Also be able consider factors such as well depth, reservoir pressure, formation composition and safety regulations.
  • Supervision of drilling operations, including setting up equipment, controlling drilling parameters, monitoring safety and resolving problems.Ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Optimization of the drilling process, suggesting technical improvements, such as the use of new drilling techniques, the application of specific drilling fluids or the adoption of directional drilling methods to reach several reservoir zones from a single well.
  • The drilling engineer will be responsible for identifying and resolving problems encountered during drilling operations, such as formation stability problems, mud loss incidents or mechanical complications. Should also work to minimize risks related to worker safety, the environment and equipment.
  • Ensure Data Collection and Reporting, and analyzing drilling data including operational parameters, drill logs and rock samples. He prepares detailed reports on drilling operations, results achieved and lessons learned to inform future decisions.

  • Daily drilling activities: Supervising and coordinating the execution of drilling activities daily, including the operation of onshore andoffshore drilling rigsand equipment such as (mud pumps,solid control equipment, etc..)
  • Communication and coordination: Facilitating effective communication between drilling crews, contractors, service providers, and other relevant parties to ensure the seamless flow of information and resources.

Job Title: Wells Driling Superintendent

Job Description

  • Perform periodic evaluations for the Drilling Supervisors, Drilling Engineers and Drilling Technicians.
  • Monitor drilling expenditures on a daily basis with the goal of drilling the most cost effective wells possible.
  • Review equipment planning with Drilling Engineer, Drilling Supervisors and the Material & Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely equipment arrivals and to eliminate equipment overstocking.

  • Perform wellsite inspections to ensure that safety programs are conducted and monitored by the drilling contractors in a manner consistent with HSE policies in conjunction with the Senior Drilling Supervisors’ site specific HSE plan.
  • Ensure that well platforms are constructed to specifications, in a time and cost effective manner.
  • Liases with subsurface geology and production teams on sub-surface activities
  • Define phase activities (well design and drilling programme), including casing design, well trajectories development, BHA design (including drill stem hydraulics optimization and hole cleaning analysis).
  • Execution phase suppport – Well operations monitoring, operations optimisation (inluding drill stem hydraulics optimisation, hole cleaning analysis, torque and drag analysis). Post well reviews capturing lessons for implementation on future/subsequent wells, among others.

Job Title: Senior Completions Engineer

Description 

  • We are looking to recruit a formidable well Engineering team for an upcoming project.

Responsibilities

  • Positively participating in teams of multi-disciplinary engineers providing completion engineering and testing solutions as part of the well delivery process (e.g., well planning preparation, tubing stress analysis, material selection, tendering, purchasing, QA/QC, CWOP, peer reviews, risk assessment and execution of operations in a timely manner).
  • Preparing completion/testing/workover programmes/end of well reports and coordinating other specialist inputs.
  • Optimising safe working practices in the development of operational programmes. Being familiar with derogations, management of change, company rules, HAZID/HAZOPs etc. Accurately preparing budgets and durations required for completion projects for individual wells. Liaising with the Well Examiner to ensure programs are in line with the Well Examination Scheme.
  • Updating and following up equipment preparation for routine and non-routine operations.
  • Updating and following up the rig cost control for service contracts involved in completion/workover/testing operations.
  • Supervising and coaching entry level Engineers. Preparing statutory applications/notifications to external agencies, as required, to satisfy the overall completion/testing programme. Preparing, reviewing and evaluating tenders for the provision of completion/workover/testing related equipment and services.
  • Providing cost models, technical feedback final recommendations and presentations to contract management committee etc. Supervising completion/workover operations on designated rigs.
  • Actively participating in the drilling and wells improvement process.
  • Liaising closely with operations to support implementation of engineering work plans and providing live completion/testing engineering support.
  • Following up and improving well performance through collaborative evaluation and innovation.
  • Supervising small task forces comprising of junior Engineers and contractors to resolve engineering/technical issues and leading operational implementation of solutions.
  • Participating in group wide feedback of new or innovative engineering solutions.
  • Prepare programs for all critical rigless activities such as securing wells and production logging operations.
  • Thereafter oversee the implementation of the work by contractors to ensure the objectives are achieved in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure that all HSE risks are identified and that measures are put in place to mitigate risks and ensure that Rigless programs and completion programs are prepared accordingly.
  • In particular ensure that HSE requirements are never compromised and that operations are performed in compliance of the Drilling Reference Manual (DRM), the Drilling Department Golden Rules and Corporate HSE requirements. Supervise and support the completion engineers with regard to the design and installation of optimum well completions and resolve technical and operational problems as they arise.
  • Plan and supervise all production logging activities at oil, gas and water wells using production technology, thermal decay and gamma ray neutron tools (PLT, TDT and GNT). Responsibilities include gathering data, preparing program and overseeing work of contractor through to satisfactory completion of program.
  • The incumbent also has responsibility to plan and program critical rigless operations such as well killing and production logging.
  • Carry out peer assist and review of job procedures, completion design, job preparation and project readiness. Involved in periodic technical webinars to mentor and coach younger Engineers on industrial best practices, lessons learnt and new technologies.
