Job Title: Quality Control Associate
Location: Kumbotso, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of PVC and CPVC pipes, including dimensional analysis, impact testing, density checks, hydrostatic pressure testing, heat reversion analysis, and dichloromethane testing.
- Continuously monitor the UPVC pipe production line to promptly detect and address product defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for detected defects.
- Partner with engineers and technicians to enhance production methods and improve product quality.
- Assist with the calibration and maintenance of quality testing instruments.
- Ensure that all testing equipment is functioning accurately and reliably.
- Generate regular quality reports for submission to management.
- Ensure that all documentation is compliant with quality management system requirements.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization within the quality control framework.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing overall product quality and production efficiency.
- Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and relevant regulatory updates.
- Participate in regular calibration and verification programs for equipment.
- Organize and coordinate sample collection for laboratory analysis.
- Prepare samples for testing and ensure proper execution of analyses.
- Interpret test results to identify any potential quality issues, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all quality assurance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with quality standards and specifications across all phases of production.
- Accurately record data from all quality tests and inspections.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing product quality and overall performance.
- Maintain and update all quality records in line with organizational requirements.
- Oversee production processes at critical stages to proactively identify potential quality concerns.
Salary
N100,000 – N200,000 / Month.
