Job Title: Quality Control Associate

Location: Kumbotso, Kano

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of PVC and CPVC pipes, including dimensional analysis, impact testing, density checks, hydrostatic pressure testing, heat reversion analysis, and dichloromethane testing.
  • Continuously monitor the UPVC pipe production line to promptly detect and address product defects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for detected defects.
  • Partner with engineers and technicians to enhance production methods and improve product quality.
  • Assist with the calibration and maintenance of quality testing instruments.
  • Ensure that all testing equipment is functioning accurately and reliably.
  • Generate regular quality reports for submission to management.
  • Ensure that all documentation is compliant with quality management system requirements.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization within the quality control framework.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing overall product quality and production efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and relevant regulatory updates.
  • Participate in regular calibration and verification programs for equipment.
  • Organize and coordinate sample collection for laboratory analysis.
  • Prepare samples for testing and ensure proper execution of analyses.
  • Interpret test results to identify any potential quality issues, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all quality assurance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure full compliance with quality standards and specifications across all phases of production.
  • Accurately record data from all quality tests and inspections.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing product quality and overall performance.
  • Maintain and update all quality records in line with organizational requirements.
  • Oversee production processes at critical stages to proactively identify potential quality concerns.

Salary

N100,000 – N200,000 / Month.
