Job Title: Accountant
Location: Oke-Bola – Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Time: 7:15 am – 6 pm
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assist with financial planning and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with Nigerian accounting standards.
- Assist with internal audits as required.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain petty cash.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BSc / HND in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Preferred Gender – Female.
