IT & Digital Competency Areas:
- Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret customer and market data. At MLF, this helps optimize sourcing strategies, pricing, product selection, customer experience, and sales projections.
- CRM Tools & Customer Engagement: Hands-on knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) to manage customer relationships, track client interactions, automate follow-ups, and improve retention strategies.
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Proficiency in running digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads), email marketing, and creating content strategies to boost online visibility and product awareness.
- Social Media Management: Ability to use social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) to generate engagement, manage communities, promote MLF products, and respond to customer inquiries in real time.
- Presentation & Reporting Tools: Comfort with MS PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets) to prepare strategic reports for internal or investor presentations.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Experience using productivity tools (Slack, Trello, Notion, Zoom), automation tools (Zapier, Mailchimp), and POS systems used in commodity tracking.
- Web & Mobile Tools Proficiency: Ability to navigate both desktop and mobile-based applications for customer service, sales, tracking inventory, and field operations.
- E-Commerce & Marketplace Management: Understanding of managing platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia, or Konga to run an online storefront, track logistics, orders, and payments.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Capacity to optimize web content for better visibility on search engines, thereby increasing organic traffic and credibility for MLF’s digital presence.
- Sales Funnel & Conversion Tracking: Proficiency in mapping customer journeys and using tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track conversion rates and campaign performance.
