Job Title: CCTV Monitoring Operator

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Employment Type: Full Time


  • To use the CCTV equipment proactively and to its optimum level to help Management to detect and deter crime and anti-social behavior.
  • Use the CCTV cameras to identify offenders and provide high quality evidence to enable investigations and were necessary prosecutions and if required provide written witness statements
  • Prepare detailed reports of incidents, including time, date, and nature of the incident, for management review.
  • Recording all events, incidents and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format.
  • Maintain a log of all activities and incidents observed during monitoring.
  • To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Management.
  • Coordinate with technical staff for the maintenance and repair of CCTV equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and industry best practices related to CCTV monitoring.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding privacy and data protection.
  • Keeping a secure system in place for data transmission in compliance with the rules, making sure the equipment and control room is always kept safe.
  • Providing efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
  • Monitoring people in different locations to identify instances of suspicious or unusual behavior
  • Confirming that the CCTV system is operating as intended and that video is properly recorded and saved. Ensure all cameras are functioning correctly and covering designated areas effectively.


  • OND / HND / B.Sc. is an advantage.
  • CCTV certification and computer experience needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Essential – Standard keyboard skills and ability to communicate through IT using packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Teams. Ability to input accurately and update and retrieve Data.
  • Essential – Ability to communicate clearly and accurately orally and in writing (create incident and maintenance fault logs and witness statements
  • Good concentration skills and ability to notice and record detail.
  • Private / commercial security experience / background is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and to multitask.
  • Ability to identify small, apparently unnoticeable details that most people would ordinarily overlook.


N100,000 – N150,000 monthly
