Job Title: CO2 Plant Engineer

Job Summary
- The CO2 Plant Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency, safety, and environmental performance of the company’s carbon dioxide production facilities.
- They are tasked with developing and implementing strategies to optimize CO2 recovery, purification, storage, and distribution processes, while minimizing the environmental impact of operations.
- This includes enhancing energy efficiency, waste management, pollution control, and ensuring sustainable sourcing of resources.
- The CO2 Plant Engineer ensures strict adherence to environmental laws, industry standards, and regulations, while conducting risk assessments and promoting sustainability within the company’s engineering operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all CO2 plants and ensure they run efficiently and in line with standard operating procedures to deliver onto production targets.
- Ensure plant maintenance as per schedule and global best practices.
- Closely check and monitor the parameters of Food Grade Co2 for customer satisfaction in COA.
- Ensure the product quality purity tests are carried out as per standard operating procedures.
- Oversee periodic checks on all machines in the plants.
- Ensure safety guidelines are strictly adhered to in the plants.
- Ensure a cost-effective troubleshooting process to keep the plants running at maximum capacity at all times.
- Ensure the food safety system is implemented through effective HACCP, GHK, and GMP programs in the plant.
Requirements
- First Degree or equivalents in Engineering.
- Professional certifications, such as COREN, etc. are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, with 5 years at a managerial level in the FMCG industry and CO2- producing plant.
- Nature of Work: Day and Onsite
