We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Accountant

Location: Ikate – Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Cash Imprest Management: Oversee and manage the cash imprest system, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle payroll preparation and ensure timely salary disbursement while maintaining accuracy.
  • Budgeting & Expense Tracking: Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions such as VAT, PAYE, and other financial obligations.
  • Audits & Documentation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and reports.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform periodic reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements, ledgers, and financial records.
  • Daily Expense Reporting: Maintain and update daily expense reports using the company’s CRM system.
  • Preparation of Vouchers & Receipts: Generate and issue payment vouchers and receipts to clients, ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems.

Salary

N220,000 – N250,000 / month.
