Job Title: General Manager

Job Brief

  • We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the business operations andemployees in our company.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future.
  • The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters business.
  • They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.
  • The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company’s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

Job Description

  • Supervise clerical staff and other employees.
  • Design work schedules and organize employee training.
  • Resolve employee and client issues.
  • Manage and direct activities of all staff
  • Manage and supervise facilities functions, maintenance and repairs in the company’s facility
  • Constantly monitor and the daily production
  • Plan, organise and keep details of all major company meetings
  • Monitor the performance of all staff and keep records of their evaluation.
  • Hire, onboard and train all new staff, and organise training for all staff regularly.
  • Work with departments supervisors to prepare monthly budgets for various departments
  • Develop logistics in organising records, files and statements in an effective manner.
  • Ensure the work facility is safe, free of security issues and in compliance with all government regulations.
  • Work with outside vendors to maintain necessary business supplies and sale of company products.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with executives and other managers.
  • Design and implement procedures to improve profitability.
  • Supervise and manage administrative and general operations of the company
  • Develop and implement administrative functions to monitor business operations
  • Shall carry out any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • BSc / BA in Business Management or relevant field; MSc / MA will be a plus.
  • Proven experience as General Manager or relevant role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing company is a plus.
  • Candidates who have a background in Human Resource Management are advised to apply.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

Salary

N200,000 – N250,000 / month.
