Job Title: Head Chef

Qualifications
Education:
- Culinary Degree or Diploma: A degree from a recognized culinary school is often preferred. Some chefs may also have a degree in hospitality management.
- Food Safety Certification: Certification in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe, is often required.
Experience:
- Proven Exaperience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef: Typically, 5 – 10 years of progressive experience in a professional kitchen, with at least a few years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Culinary Techniques: Mastery of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food presentation.
- Menu Development: Experience in creating and designing menus that are both creative and cost-effective.
- Food Cost Management: Ability to manage food costs, inventory, and suppliers effectively.
Certifications (Optional):
- Advanced Certifications: Such as a sommelier certification if the position requires wine knowledge.
Requirements:
Leadership and Management:
- Team Management: Strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Training and Development: Ability to train and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of cooking and kitchen operations.

Communication Skills:
- Clear Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and management.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
