Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Oluyole, Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing new hire documentation, setting up training schedules, and conducting orientations.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist in processing payroll changes and updates. Support the HR team with benefits administration and leave management.
- Compliance: Ensure HR compliance by supporting the implementation of policies and procedures in line with labor laws and regulations.
- General Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, organize meetings, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and paper formats, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- HR Administrative Support: Assist in preparing HR-related reports, memos, and correspondence. Provide support for employee inquiries and HR-related issues.
- Employee Engagement: Help organize employee engagement activities, events, and programs to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
