Job Title: Human Resource Lead

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions and initiatives within the organization.
  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with C-Suite Management and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Duties/Responsibilities (Summary)

  • Develop and Implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, including talent sourcing, interviewing and onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, while keeping them up to date with employment laws and best practices.
  • Oversee training and development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Support in maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
  • Oversee and manage Short Service Workers activities from recruitment to compensation/benefits, and exit.
  • Provide support and guidance to Management and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to performance management, employee relations and welfare.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies and oversee compensation and benefits.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human resources or a related field.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a HR management role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, while also handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM or PHR) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of employment, labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical problem solving skills.
