Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Location: Benin City, Edo
Job Schedule: Full time
Job Description
- The key purpose is for all governance processes and documentation are followed and completed to ensure that any and all physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP. Â
- Assist with primary and secondary distribution activities as required.
Responsibilities
Daily Documentation Control:
- Check that all SD shipment packs are correct and completeÂ
- Check that all Interdepot Movement Notes are correct and completeÂ
- Check all PD and SD Gate Registers to physical documents and final load planÂ
- All stock and shipment packs filed as per SAB requirementsÂ
- Assist with credit queries
Route settlement corrections:
- Process customer and driver corrections as requiredÂ
- Assign variance reasons to all driver and customer correctionsÂ
- Key roles and responsibilities
- Check all RSC invoices have been recorded in register and sent to customers for signatureÂ
- Track and resolve missing and unsigned invoices within the specified timeframe
Routine Administration:
- Capture missing broken and foreign survey dataÂ
- Print beer age concessions and attach to shipments that are received out of specificationÂ
- Capture fuel usage Raise purchase ordersÂ
- Ensure all invoice queries are resolvedÂ
- Reporting on missing documents and errors found
Governance:
- Ensure that documentation is controlled as per audit and SARBox requirementsÂ
- Ensure that inventory management principles and policies are applied
- Key roles and responsibilities
Stock Take Procedures:
- Carry out inventory counts as prescribed in company policies and proceduresÂ
- Generate stock variance reports daily
- Issuing and receiving stock
- Assist with issuing and receiving of primary and secondary distribution shipments on SAP when required
Key competencies and attributes:

Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12Â
- Tertiary diploma/degree in Stock Control / Management would be an added advantage
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environmentÂ
- Excellent knowledge of Stock Control processesÂ
