Job Summary

  • An Inventory Manager oversees theorganization’s stock levels, ensuring that the supply of goods aligns with demand, and preventing overstock or shortage situations.

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager with a knack for inventory control and optimization! Join our team and take charge of managing stock levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to ensure efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and diligently track stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Analyze inventory needs and proactively purchase new items to replenish stock as needed, considering lead times and demand forecasts.
  • Handle inventory transfers promptly and accurately, coordinating with relevant teams or departments to facilitate smooth and timely movements.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure proper execution of inventory management activities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate inventory reports, providing insights and recommendations to enhance inventory control and planning.
  • Identify and address any inventory discrepancies promptly, conducting investigations and implementing corrective measures.
  • Monitor inventory levels closely, proactively preventing stockouts or excess inventory, optimizing inventory turnover and carrying costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • 4+ years of inventory management experience, demonstrating expertise in managing complex inventory systems and processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, facilitating precise and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and numerical aptitude, enabling accurate inventory analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, utilizing tools to track and analyze inventory data effectively.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems related to inventory management, employing analytical and critical thinking skills.

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
