Job Title: Invoicing Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Prepare to generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients or customers.
- Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to billings and invoicing.
- Stay up to date with changes in billings and invoicing regulations and laws.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new invoicing procedures and systems.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the organization.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and issues that require action.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow.
- Ensure that all invoices are properly authorized and approved before processing.
- Maintain and organize billing records and documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivables and ensure timely payment processing.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to billings and invoicing.
Knowledge
Sound numeric skills:
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with 4 – 5 years work experience.
- Proficient in MS Office and data entry
- Proficient in Excel and other financial applications and accounting software.
