Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Description
- Oversee fleet management operations, ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely movement of goods.
- Monitor and evaluate transport systems to ensure optimal performance and address inefficiencies.
- Manage inventory for dry and wet bulk products, ensuring that stock levels are maintained to meet demand without overstocking and implement strategies to prevent product shortages, damages, theft, and other losses.
- Develop and maintain a proactive fleet maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply chain activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods, from suppliers to final consumers.
- Work collaboratively with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs.
- Create and evaluate RFPs/RFQs, ensuring transparency and fairness in the procurement process.
- Monitor the performance and condition of vehicles, scheduling regular inspections, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure all fleet-related issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies in logistics operations to ensure optimal resource allocation and expenditure control.
- Identify, assess, and manage significant risks related to logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
