Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description
- The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves setting up machines according to specifications, monitoring machine performance, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Machine Operation:
- Operate various types of production machinery including but not limited to Blowing machines, Injection machines, filling line, packaging machine, liner insertion machines and any other machinery & equipment.
- Set up machines according to production specifications and company standards and guidelines.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Quality Control:
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain product quality.
- Report any defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making minor repairs as necessary.
- Escalate complex issues to maintenance or technical support.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate production records, including, good count, total count, cycle time, quality control metric, and downtime records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate Routine:
- Perform regular cleaning of machines to remove debris, dust, and contaminants.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery components to identify signs of wear, damage, or misalignment.
- Use clean, inspect, and lubricate checklist
- Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain a clutter-free environment.
- Apply lubricants to machine components as specified by the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
