Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Husky
Location:Â Benin, Edo

About the Role
- Ensure stipulated machines/equipment are well maintained and available for production operation as per the Maintenance schedule in line with the production schedule and set targets for quality equipment and maintenance that guarantee food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and repair maintenance and other recommended maintenance programs in line with the checklists and schedules and as required to keep the equipment in good working condition that will ensure food safety.
- Monitor equipment as per checklist on all stipulated machines, document findings, and recommend actions to be taken through the maintenance report form.
- Lubricate the machinery as specified in the lubrication chart and update lubrication documentation.
- Ensure acceptable level of cleanliness in dressing and immediate work area in line with Good Housekeeping Practice
- Monitor and ensure CCPs critical limits are not exceeded at the Dominik Hunter and Filler. MONITORING of control points, PRPs, and oPRPs in the beverage manufacturing process to prevent food safety-related hazards. Any other assigned duties.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety practices, good environmental management systems, occupational Health and Safety practices in all line activities.
- Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors, and safety controls are in good working condition.
- Conduct periodical maintenance on electrical panels and other electrical components.
- Ensure all machine frame structures, bolts, nuts, fittings, and frame legs remain rigid and in the correct position.
- Correct all reported faults and rectify all operational malfunctions on stipulated machines during operation.
- Ensure equipment is available for production on schedule.
Education & Experience
- Relevant Engineering Certificate (HND/BSc) or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical position most appropriate to the shop floor role.
- Good understanding and experience of current manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience in the execution of maintenance tasks.
- Experience in practical project management.
- Significant experience with a measure of cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic Knowledge of computer operations.
