Job Description

  • As the Marketing Manager at Payzeep, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s marketing initiatives and promoting our range of financial services.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase market penetration.
  • This role requires demonstrated commercial acumen in developing business cases, efficient allocation of brand budget to commercial and campaign activities that deliver brand visibility and profitability.
  • It also requires experience in delivering Go-To-Market roll-out across several touchpoints (B2B & B2C), preferably but not limited to a digital payment product/business.
  • The role will support the business team to drive key KPIs such as merchant acquiring, agent on-boarding, channel visibility, deployment of sales enablement collaterals, and transaction.
  • This role also requires fluency in creative development and leading the marketing communication agenda (both brand communication and product communication).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives to promote Payzeep’s financial services and solutions.
  • Brand Management: Manage and strengthen the Payzeep brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with company values and messaging.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media campaigns, and content creation to drive customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Track and analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness, ROI, and customer engagement, and leverage insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Excellent Execution: This role requires excellent execution on time, in full (OTIF). The job responsibility combines strategic alignment of marketing execution to business priorities, while bearing cost management in mind. It requires the ability to take ownership of practical deliverables with little supervision, manage 3rd party suppliers, collaborate internally, manage projects effectively, and report progress with clarity.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to target key customer segments and drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Generating Regular Reports: On a regular basis the role will generate and present best practice reports to key stakeholders about brand activities, updates, brand performance status, identify challenges, competitive analysis, and recommend brand activities to drive performance both in the short term (6months – 12months) and long term (12months to 18months).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience, 7 years minimum in marketing management roles, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing techniques, and market research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns and driving customer acquisition and retention.
