Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with previous experience in designing, developing, and managing mechanical systems for solar power plants.
- This includes structural components, cooling and heating systems, and mechanical equipment used in the production of electricity from solar energy.
- The individual needs to have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermal fluid systems, and solar energy principles also knowledge of photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Individual will be responsible for engineering drawings, performing tolerance and environmental analyses, and managing projects from concept to commercialization.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Individual will conduct inspections and ensure that solar energy systems are running at optimal efficiency.
- Technical Support: Individual will provide technical direction and support to the installation teams during start-up, testing, system commissioning, and performance monitoring.
- Regulatory Compliance: He will ensure that all designs and installations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- System Installation: Individual will oversee and supervise the installation of solar power panels and wiring, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management: Individual will lead the designing, development, and construction of solar power plants, from initial concept to final commissioning and operations.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and managing mechanical systems for solar energy projects.
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermal fluid systems, and solar energy principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Personal Traits:
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a team of engineers and other professionals.
- Adaptable: Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry standards.

Remuneration
N250,000 – N300,000 Salary per month.
