- University degree or HND (Higher National Diploma)
- NYSC discharge Certificate

Academic Requirements
Inspectorate Cadre:
- National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from any Approved Institution.
Medical Requirements:
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.

General Conditions
- Applicants must be Nigenan by birth.
- Applicants must have completed their primary x education and obtained a First School Leaving Certificate.
- Applicants must not be less than 1.7 meters till for males and 1.64 meters for females.
- Medical fitness is required, and applicants naist not be physically or mentally challenged.
- Applicants must not have been convicted of y criminal offense.
- Applicants must not be members of any secret society. cult, or drug addicts.
- Applicants must present a certificate of state/ LGA of origin.
