Job Title: Pricing Analyst
Location:Â Oshodi, Isolo – LagosÂ

Role Context
- Responsible for analysis of yield management KPIs, pricing and commercial data in order to identify opportunities for improving profitability.
- In conjunction with the Cluster Pricing Manager, ensures that all countries in their area complies with the Global Pricing Policy.
- Supports the execution and implementation of yield programs such as the annual General Price Increase and pricing processes such as Strategic Pricing Alignment workshops.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts analysis of pricing KPIs to identify profit opportunities
- Monitors the pricing scorecard to identify trends, investigate root causes and make recommendations to improve pricing KPIs
- Supports execution and implementation of pricing yield programs such as Net Price Change, Ship To Profile, cleansing of surcharge waivers and customised PIDs
- Manages annual General Price Increase deliverables as assigned by Pricing Manager or Regional Pricing.
- Supports Tenders, RFQs and Global Customer Implementations in Global Workflow System
- Conducts training and administration for pricing systems and tools
- Support regional pricing projects as assigned by Regional Pricing
- Sources and provides pricing inputs and analysis for pricing projects, like SPA (Strategic Pricing Analysis), re-pricing of products/services, competitor research, and surveys.
- Performs commercial analysis to identify growth opportunities while improving profitability and maintaining or growing DHL market share
Skills / Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Access database, Excel, Powerpoint and Word applications.
- Numerical proficiency and analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems
- Data visualisation in concise manner to easily develop insights

Expected years of experience:
- 2 – 3 years experience in an analytical role (desirable with DHL) or with Finance experience.
