Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager
Location:Â Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Summary
- For a large project based in Nigeria, we are looking for a QA/QC Manager.
- The  QA/QC Manager is responsible for QA/QC activities during all project phases from endorsement of detail engineering up to final documentation delivery.
Responsibilities
His/Her responsabilities will be:
- The preparation of the project QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
- Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractors documentation submittals.
- Attend client quality management reviews
- The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation updating in line with project changes.
- Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
- Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformances.
- Control and distribution of all the PMT quality documentation
- Monitor of Quality related activities on the project.
- Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the project management
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
- Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the QC team
- Coordinate all quality related correspondence with customer representatives
- Monitor statistical method reporting
- Action and close all customer complaints
- Participate to the Contract review on the technical part.
- Participates to Contract management by initiating, collecting and consolidating the variation requests and change orders.
- Participates to project planning definition by providing QC milestones and requirements.
- Ensures necessary input to QA/QA requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement activities.
- Contributes to project reporting for the QA/QC part (activities, quantities, areas of concern…).
- Close all documentation at the completion of a project
- Generate and sign all QC documentation as required by the QMS
- To carry out my duties in a safe manner by taking responsibility for my own health and safety and that of the people who may be affected by my actions.
- To prevent work related accidents and illnesses in my work place through compliance to HSE policies, procedures and safe work instructions
Knowledge / Experience
- Mechanical engineering degree with experiences in the Upstream Oil&Gas industry
- Knowledge in main industry standards (ASME, AWS, API…),
- Organization and control (project management).
- Leadership (effective communication, multidisciplinary teamwork).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office;
- Fluency in professional English.
- Knowledge in Total General Specifications is a plus.
- General knowledge of the company’s businesses.
- Certified auditor (ISO 9001).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.
