What You Can Expect
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute MMB’s new business for EH&B in Nigeria.
- You will actively respond to identified business opportunities and take ownership of sales responsibility and accountability for delivering new business.
- Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing MMB’s EH&B Sales strategy, ensuring its successful implementation.
Responsibilities
We will rely on you to:
Growth:
- Actively execute sales efforts to achieve the New Business budget and implement a sustainable and ethical growth strategy for the EH&B book of business, including new and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage approaches to major prospects, deliver new business projects, and increase profitability in line with the Company’s strategic plan. Conduct research and pipeline development, reporting to MMB Management and the Marsh Group.
Pipeline Management and Forecasting:
- Assist with cross-selling strategies on existing accounts and maintain pipeline integrity, volume, and velocity.
- Participate in sales forecast meetings and drive the implementation and adoption of MPower within Nigeria.
New Business & Renewal Updates:
- Coordinate regular updates of the local EH&B Business Development and renewal, reporting to the MMB Business Leader, West Africa.
- Coordinate New Business Reports to MMB and anchor Monthly New Business Development Feedback Sessions.
Client Retention:
- Lead client servicing teams to achieve expected outputs through KPI management and prioritize client-centricity.
- Maintain strong client relationships, follow client reporting standards, and aim for a +95% client retention rate.
- Ensure timely submission of terms to eliminate renewal misses and accurate revenue recognition by submitting necessary documents on time.
Driving MMB Values:
- Support the development of a talent pool for EH&B in Nigeria and guide team resources to achieve set outputs through KPI management.

Requirements
What you need to have:
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
- Experience in Business Development and Management positions.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail.
- Proficiency in MS office tools.
- Experience in insurance or banking industries.
- Experience in building and managing client relationships.
