Job Title: Technical Assistant to the GMD / CEO

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the GCEO in developing strategies and plans to achieve growth and financial profitability
  • Evaluate the business environment to recommend potential investment opportunities and growth initiatives for the Group
  • Support the GCEO in defining core metrics and targets to measure business performance effectively
  • Prepare concise and informative reports summarising research findings and their implications for the Group’s regulations and policies
  • Support the GCEO in preparing for meetings with internal and external stakeholders including board members, investors and regulators.
  • Conduct in-dept research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies relevant to the Group’s operations
  • Drive the development of annual operating plans, i.e., operational plans and requirements, staffing and budgets that support strategic plans and overall business aspirations

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree or MBA in a relevant field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ cognate experience (experience in a top-tier consulting firm is an advantage)
  • Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, ACA, ICAN, CIS,FCA etc.)
  • Experience in financial industry, investment banking, private equity business, or capital market space is an advantage
  • Understanding of global business standards and best practices.
