The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria (CHDF) is a non-profit organization that supports children and persons with Congenital Heart Disease popularly called Hole in the Heart in Nigeria. The foundation is envisioned to be the leading charity organization in Nigeria supporting the CHD cause. Our mission “to create a paradigm shift in the current status of congenital heart disease in Nigeria through awareness campaign and advocacy; support; education and research promotion” states the 4 main areas we are focusing on to achieve our vision.

Job Title: Volunteer – Administrative & Communications Officer

Role Overview
- We are also seeking a dedicated Volunteer Administrative & Communications Officer to support our daily operations and communications.
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of heart warriors, with a flexible schedule and a drive to contribute to a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
- Support event coordination and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials that align with CHDFNigeria’s mission and values.
- Assist in managing CHDFNigeria’s communications, newsletters, and public relations activities.
Key Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Passionate about heart health advocacy and making a difference.
- Prior experience in communications or administration is a plus but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
