Job Title: Expeditor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Scope
- The Expeditor at Felton Energy Services Limited plays a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution.
- They will coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to expedite the procurement process and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the procurement team to expedite purchase orders and ensure timely materials delivery.
- Monitor and track order status to identify potential delays and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the procurement process.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports on procurement status to management and project teams.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and payment processing as needed.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to expedite production, shipping, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers and site personnel to prioritize material requirements and resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including order status, delivery dates, and supplier performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
