Wonder Woman Nigeria was established in 2018 with the aim to empower women and advocate for gender equality, menstrual hygiene, justice for rape and molestation victims, environmental/climate protection and a general approach to a holistic humane culture that transcends tribe, race, sexual orientation and other divisive lines in our societies.

Wonder Woman Nigeria is an incubation initiative for women, youths, and vulnerable children, to be equipped with life skills for self and community sustainability.

The NGO has birthed many initiatives from its headquarters in Northern Nigeria, Kaduna State, including Random Acts of Kindness Week, Plastics for Pads Project, School and Street outreaches centred around menstrual hygiene/SRHR, an enhanced reading culture, social justice for rape victims amongst many others.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist in timely and complete reporting of all activities.
  • Adapt & implement tools & techniques to improve quality and use of data.
  • Create database for all data report
  • Daily collation of data from project locations
  • Monitor and evaluate progress towards weekly work plans, expected outputs, including selecting and monitoring progress in meeting indicators.
  • Assist the Program Manager and support monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management activities.
  • Ensure timely data collection, compilation and reporting according to M&E plan.
  • Employ a rigorous monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress of all activities and outputs, including a strong focus on evaluating Tuberculosis awareness and participation in all project activities.
  • Conduct data management for rapid assessments, situational analysis, surveys, evaluations.
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Statistics, Project Management, or a related subject
  • At least 3 years working experience in M&E
  • Experience with performance monitoring and evaluation for environmental/climate protection based projects, including developing performance indicators, data collection and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team spirit
  • Excellent knowledge in the use of data management and analysis software
  • Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel to remote areas within the project implementation sites
  • Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Innovative and ideas driven
  • Experience in developing monitoring and evaluation plans and supporting documents, including data collection and management guidelines
  • Experience in translating data into accessible project reports and comprehensive presentations/compilations for diverse audiences
  • Experience in working in environmental/climate protection related projects/programmes
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English
