Global Alliance for Chemical Industries Limited is a major player in the Agricultural sector (agro-allied) of Nigeria established in 2020 with two branches (Kano and Ibadan) that are into the production on agrochemicals and seeds.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Spare Part Storekeeper

Location: Kano

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming spare parts.
• Maintain an organized inventory system to ensure easy accessibility and accurate tracking of spare parts.
• Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records accordingly.
• Process requests for spare parts from internal departments or external customers.
• Place orders with suppliers to replenish stock levels as needed.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and replenishment needs.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and record-keeping procedures
• Assist internal departments or external customers in identifying and locating required spare parts.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues related to spare parts availability or quality.
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
• Inspect incoming spare parts for quality and accuracy.
• Reject or return any defective or incorrect items to suppliers.
• Ensure that all spare parts meet quality standards before being added to inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of all spare parts transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.

Qualifications

• High Nationaldiploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or spare parts environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
